Born in St. Louis in 1931, Bragg died in 2017. His works have been shown in museums and exhibits around the world. He attended the High School of Music and Art in Harlem. Bragg, whose parents were vaudeville performers, worked as a truck driver and a stand-up comedian among other trades before settling on art. This work, Tort, is numbered 10/150 and signed by the artist in pencil alongside the title of the work. There is a small diagonal scratch in the lower right corner above the artist's signature. This work, in the frame, is about 22 inches wide and 17 inches tall. The frame is painted black wood. The matte is fabric and measures 3 inches wide around the print. The print itself is about 10 inches wide and 8 inches tall. The is a bright yellow background behind the print and matte and it's all covered by glass. The weight of this work is 3 pounds, 8 ounces and ready for hanging.
