Set of 5 Russian nesting dolls purchased in the Soviet Union in the early 1980s. Original sales receipt is included. These nesting dolls were sold at Beriozka (the overall name applied to two state-run retail stores). Sales receipt has date 1982. The largest doll is 4.5 inches tall. The set has a combined weight of 3 ounces.
