Born in St. Louis in 1931, Bragg died in 2017. His works have been shown in museums and exhibits around the world. He attended the High School of Music and Art in Harlem. Bragg, whose parents were vaudeville performers, worked as a truck driver and a stand-up comedian among other trades before settling on art.
