Donald Zolan "America's Beloved Painter of Children" is the artist. Pemberton & Oakes is the manufacturer. This is a 3-plate set series title "Children and Pets", limited firing of 28 days in late 1985-86. There are six plates in the series, and the three offered here are "Tender Beginning", "Waiting to Play" and "Making Friends". These are the fourth, sixth and third plates in the series. Each plate is 7.5 inches across the rim and each plate weighs 9 ounces. These plates are NOT made for dining, display only. Toxicity of rare pigments used in the firing process. Total combined weight is 1 pound, 6 ounces.
