This is a late 19th century vase with a lid. The lid has three vertical holes on each side. A cherub adorns the top of the lid. This was made in Thuringia, Germany between 1884-1902 by Sitzendorf. Vase has two handles. Pedestal, bowl and lid all covered with many, many flowers. Porcelain. One handle has small broken point on the upper side. Gold paint accents. This is the most obvious flaw. There may be a few broken flowers but there are so many it is difficult to see all of them. Given the age and intricate design of this piece, it is in amazing condition. Any collector would be proud to own this. Stands about 13 inches tall, 7 inches wide and 5 inches deep. Total weight of this piece is 3 pounds, 4 ounces.
