RS Prussia Icicle Mold Waterlilly 10.25 Inch Round Serving Porcelain Bowl

Marked R/S Prussia in red lettering with a red and green wreath. This mold is called Icicle and the effect can be seen on the inside of the bowl beneath the rim. Reinhold Schlegelmilch began a factory in Suhl, Prussia (which is now Germany) in 1869. The company existed until 1956. The mark is on the bottom and along with number 31. This piece is translucent, no doubt porcelain, but the buyer should be aware there are many fakes in the marketplace. While the mark on this piece has the correct colors and design, definitely is porcelain, but still could be a reproduction. Measures 10.25 inches across and about 3 inches tall. No chips or cracks found on the bowl. Would say the condition is very good to excellent used vintage. As always, look carefully at the pictures included in this listing.
