Leonetto Cappiello, an Italian and French artist who created advertisements for hats, umbrellas, liquors, and, in this example, bouillon. Oxo bouillon, which later came dry in tins, was first a liquid in a bottle. Cappiello, who was known as the father of modern advertising, worked in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This reproduction lithograph is 10 inches by 7 inches, framed under acrylic. Metal frame, nicely done, measures 18 by 15.5 inches overall. Nice matting, good framing job, matting inside the frame measures 15 inches by 12.5 inches. Excellent condition, no rips in the back. This item weighs 2 pounds, 14 ounces.
