The Seasons: Four Framed Phil Austin Foil Prints
Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. Wisconsin native Phil Austin ( 1910-2004) was a freelance artist in Chicago in the 1950s and 60s. Known primarily as a watercolorist, he taught art at Wheaton College for many years This set, The Seasons, is 1950s vintage. Color-etch foil lithographs. Signed by the artist. Nicely framed but appropriate aging. In frame measurement is about 12 inches by 11 inches each. All four the same size. Green and gold frames, light green mattes. These weigh a combined 4 pounds, 8 ounces. Price quoted here is for all 4 pieces together.
