Tactics II: Vintage War Game

Tactics II is the 1984 edition of a game first issued in the late fifties. This edition has two boards that make the field of combat. Tactics II was a successful early simulated war game. The boards are in excellent condition. The rule book is included, plus a combat results sheet and a time record card with a weather chart on the reverse. There is also a die and 100 small cardboard pieces, 50 little blue ones and 50 little red ones. The game is complete. Tactics II can be played in multiple ways, and the rule book is quite extensive and detailed. "Begin a lifetime of pleasure. Begin with Tactics II." This is written on the top lid. Game was produced by Avalon Hill Game Company. Box lid is excellent condition but for a few minor scuff marks. Game is like chess for military strategy. Box measures 14 inches across, 11 inches down and 1 inch deep. This game weighs 2 pounds.
