Made in Japan in the late 1970 era. Dave Grossman did a series of Norman Rockwell figurines based on covers of the Saturday Evening Post. This one, titled "Love Letter" depicts a boy focused on writing a heart-felt letter, watched over by his faithful dog. This Rockwell illustration appeared on the magazine cover on January 17, 1920. This figurine is in excellent condition and comes in its original box with original packing material. The box is not in good condition, bottom flap is missing and small tears around the top flap. Foam packing material protects the figurine. This piece is 4.5 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 3 inches deep. With its box, this piece weighs 11 ounces.
