Johnny Appleseed Vintage Metal Art Piece
Not sure if this is pewter or aluminum, but it is definitely Johnny Appleseed (AKA John Chapman), sewing apple seeds by scattering them from a bag he wears around his waist. Have seen pieces similar to this but none exactly like it. A small piece may have been broken off the left side near the top, but I can't say for sure because the two sides are not symmetrical, varying in design--as do the top and bottom. About 15 inches tall and 10 inches wide. Small holes in the corners for nails. Back side looks like the piece has been outside. Might still be great for a barn, a shed or a garage. Has not been cleaned. Weighs 2 pounds, 4 ounces.
