Old Paris Antique 18" Tall Gilded Porcelain Male & Female Figurines on Pedestals
A pair of 18" tall Old Paris antique male and female gilded 19th-century mantle figurines. French Colonial garb. Colors are excellent. Condition is excellent with one minor condition issue: there is a chip on one underside corner of the woman's pedestal. This can only be seen if you turn the item upside down, as each one weighs 5 pounds, 13 ounces. Eighteen inches tall, 7 inches wide and 5 inches deep. The combined weight is 11 pounds, 7 ounces. There is a hole in the back of each piece (see pictures 8-10), likely for a taper. No sign that these pieces have ever been used as candle holders.
This item is not recommended for international purchase due to the weight of the item.
