Meramec Caverns Stage Coach Vintage Mug
There is a lot to this vintage souvenir stage coach mug from Meramec Caverns, Stanton, MO. The handle is a pistol with a textured grip, barrel and hammer. The gun's tip continues through the other side of the mug. Stage coach illustration is on both sides of the mug. Door of stage coach reads "US Mail. Wells Fargo. Deadwood Stage." The rim and the base have an embossed dove-tail notch pattern. No chips or cracks. Some crazing. Back of coach reads "Meramec Caverns. Stanton, MO". This mug holds 16 ounces. The mug is about 4.5 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide, including the pistol handle. Rare piece of vintage Western-themed drinkware. No marks for manufacturer or country of origin. This mug weighs 15 ounces.
