Thick glass syrup bottle with metal top, likely pewter. Final on top, hinge, thumb tab intact and working. Recessed metal lip (see picture #3). Likely made in the late 19th century. Glass has no maker's mark or place of manufacture. Very minor scratches on glass--otherwise, excellent condition. Some small air bubbles present from glass-making process. Stands 8 inches tall. Measures about 3.75 inches at its widest. This container weighs 13 ounces.
